Spas and massage

Booking software for spas and massage therapists

A massage has to start on time and end without a knock on the door. OnTime books each treatment for the full time the room is taken and tells you when the next client is already waiting.

Lengths that include resetting the room

The length you set is how long the room is taken. If an hour's massage needs a quarter of an hour afterwards to change the sheets and air the room, set it at 75 minutes and back-to-back bookings will never overlap.

TreatmentLength you might set
Relaxing massage, 1 h75 min
Deep tissue, 90 min105 min
Hot stones90 min
Foot reflexology45 min
Hammam and scrub60 min

Who is waiting at reception

Mark the client as arrived when they reach the desk. The therapist's column then shows one person waiting and how many minutes behind the room is running, so nobody has to open the door mid-treatment to check. See the waiting room.

Preferences and health notes

Pressure, areas to avoid, pregnancy, an allergy to certain oils. Build these as fields on the client record, and the therapist reads them before the client lies down.

What OnTime doesn't do

  • It doesn't sell gift vouchers or treatment packages.
  • Clients don't pay online; they pay you on the day.
  • One appointment is one therapist. A couples massage is two appointments at the same time.
