Barbershops

Booking software for barbershops

A barbershop runs on bookings and walk-ins at the same time. OnTime handles both: clients book online or you add them as they come through the door, and the waiting area turns into two numbers you can read at a glance.

Book the chair or book the barber

Some clients want Moussa and nobody else. Others want a fade before 6 p.m. from whoever is free. OnTime covers both. Each barber can have an agenda, and a team agenda stands for the whole shop: the client books the team, and a time stays open while one barber is free.

When the appointment starts, you choose who takes the client, and OnTime shows who is already mid-cut.

Walk-ins without a ticket machine

Someone walks in and asks for a line-up. Add them as an appointment for now. If the chair is taken, OnTime says so and lets you book it anyway. Tap arrived when they sit down to wait, and started when they get in the chair.

The top of each column shows how many people are waiting and how far behind that barber is running, so you can tell the next person it's a twenty-minute wait instead of guessing. More on the waiting room.

Questions people ask

  • The subscription includes one barber, and each extra barber with their own agenda adds a fixed price. A team agenda for the shop costs nothing extra, and neither does someone on reception.

  • No. The booking page opens in their phone's browser.

  • Yes. Filter the dashboard by person to see each barber's appointments and revenue. Managers see everyone, each barber sees their own figures.
