Online booking page
Your own booking page, for Instagram, WhatsApp and the front desk
OnTime gives your business a web page where clients pick a service and a free time, then send you a request. Nothing lands in your calendar until you confirm it.
What your clients see
The page opens on your logo, your cover photo and your colour. Below them sit your address with a directions link, your opening hours, your phone number, and links to your WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and website. The about text takes up to 400 characters, enough to say who you are and what a first visit is like.
Booking takes three steps. The client picks a service and sees how long it lasts, and chooses who they want to see if there are several of you. Then they pick a time from a week of free slots and give their first name, last name and phone number. They don't need an account or an email address, and they can leave you a note of up to 500 characters.
You confirm every request
A request arrives
It shows up under Booking requests with the client's name, phone and note. A counter in the menu tells you how many are waiting.
You confirm or decline
When you confirm, OnTime checks the time is still free, creates a client record if the phone number is new, and puts the appointment in the calendar. When you decline, you can add a reason that only your team will see.
The client hears back
With an SMS pack, in a country where texts go out, the client gets a text. Otherwise the request moves to a To tell list, with a button that opens WhatsApp on a message already written, ready to send from your business number.
While a request waits, its time is held, so nobody else is offered the same slot. A request still unanswered when its time comes expires on its own and frees the slot.
Rules that keep the diary sane
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Services bookable online | All | Switch off the ones you'd rather arrange by phone, like a long colour or a first consultation. |
| Minimum notice | 4 hours | No request for a time that starts sooner than this. |
| Bookable up to | 30 days ahead | How far into the future the page offers times. |
| Requests per day | 20 per person | A daily cap on each agenda, so a burst of requests can't swamp you. |
Each person on the team can take their own agenda off the page. A shared team agenda can take bookings too: the client books the team, and you choose who sees them when the appointment starts. How team agendas work.
What the page doesn't do
- Clients pay nothing on the page. Payment happens with you, as it does today.
- One request is for one service.
- The page lives on on-time.pro. You can link to it from your own website, but not host it under your own address.
- To cancel or move a confirmed appointment, the client calls you. Clients who get the SMS reminder can also cancel from the link in it.
